Posting the last update from Ecco.hk (thanks to @stapo101 for tip). Please, be patient because uploading process is not fast. I Hope we can have the best working firmware.

Here is link to download update provided for @stapo101, thanks friend. I still do not have the phone because I sent it back to the supplier. I'm still waiting for shipment arrives. So I can not comment about the stability and performance on this firmware

It will be necessary that those interested, download and install the firmware upgrade.

I've installed on my phone and it really works well, excellent audio quality, very good resolution images and videos. No Chinese applications.
No root permissions
Multilanguage.
I have detected only two drawbacks:
1. Unable to install root permissions, having tried all options: iRoot, KingoRoot, RootGenius, etc.
If any of you able to install this option, I beg you let us to know the way.
2. I've installed a CWM Recovery, but the system does not allow me to access these services. It seems as if there is a special block for these options.
INSTALLATION:
a) Very important that a full backup is made before starting the update.
b) You can get here also the Sp Flashtool V5.1516. With this application I've made the installation.

Yo la he instalado en mi telefono y realmente funciona muy bien, excelente calidad de Audio, muy buena resolución en imagenes y videos. Sin aplicaciones chinas.
Sin permisos de Raiz.
Multilenguaje.
Solamente le he detectada 2 inconvenientes:
1.- No ha sido posible instalar permisos de raiz, habiendo probado con todas las opciones: Iroot, KingoRoot, RootGenius, etc.
Si alguno de ustedes logra instalar esta opción, le ruego indicar aqui mismo, la forma de solucionarlo.
2.- Aun cuando yo instalé un Recovery CWM, el sistema no me permite acceder a estos servicios. Parece como si existiese un bloqueo especial para estas opciones.
INSTALACION:
a) Muy importante que se haga un respaldo completo, antes de iniciar la actualización.
b) Aqui tam bien podras obtener la V5.1516 de SpFlashtool, que es la mas reciente. Con esta aplicacion yo realice la instalación.

Good evening to everybody.
I'm an Italian user and we opened a specific thread on Ecoo. Here there are many users and several clever modder.
A big problem we're facing is that when flashing a rom ( i.e. from 4.4.4 to Lollipop or the contrary ) either flashing the same firmware in firmware ugrade at the end of flashing all data are lost ( with errors like NVRAM WARNING Error 0X10 , imei lost, apps lost, personal data the same ) . The same if flashing ( with the userdata checked ) in download only . So , everytime we use flashtool ( the last issued here , and even other version ). We loose data. Anyone of you are facing such issue ? And if so which is the solution ?

Can I respectfully suggest that the link to the latest ROM (20th May 2015) should be removed from this thread as it actually is an unoffical Cyanogen Mod ROM and not an official ECCO ROM. There is already a CM 12.1 ROM uploaded to needrom which may well be the same. If it isn't then it would be more appropriate that your latest ROM be added as an update to that one.
Having it linked to on a thread for the offical ROM is going to cause confusion.
Whilst you're at it you could in fact add the following link as an update to the offical ROM:

It is a lollipop ROM dated 7th May so slightly newer than the 30th April ROM. I have been running it for several days and it works well.

can someone confirme that the "Smart Wake" App and "Put out screen flip" / "Flip mute" under the Accessibility Tab is gone in Lollipop?

another problem, i personaly find the Call Volume rather low, is their a trick to boost the in-call volume?

Can you confirm that with flashtool in firmware upgrade mode all data are lost ?
@Acciaio, Smething is wrong with you phone.
Perhaps you need review all comments here, because the only way to lost some data (imeis, etc) is after install recovery (no cwm).
I)'ve made severals updates with V5.0 and never lost data after install.
Hi can this be updated by renaming it to Update and placing it on the internal memory or is it SD card?
Hi so jsut flashed the new rom and dit not root (install custom recovery)
I lost imei and had to re add the even if i dit not root.
It is not a big problem but one i have never done befor so it tok me 30 min to read up on doing that.
i empty IMEI
how to fix ?
