Posting the last update from Ecco.hk (thanks to @stapo101 for tip). Please, be patient because uploading process is not fast. I Hope we can have the best working firmware.

Here is link to download update provided for @stapo101, thanks friend. I still do not have the phone because I sent it back to the supplier. I'm still waiting for shipment arrives. So I can not comment about the stability and performance on this firmware

I've installed on my phone and it really works well, excellent audio quality, very good resolution images and videos. No Chinese applications.
No root permissions
Multilanguage.
I have detected only two drawbacks:
1. Unable to install root permissions, having tried all options: iRoot, KingoRoot, RootGenius, etc.
If any of you able to install this option, I beg you let us to know the way.
2. I've installed a CWM Recovery, but the system does not allow me to access these services. It seems as if there is a special block for these options.
INSTALLATION:
a) Very important that a full backup is made before starting the update.
b) You can get here also the Sp Flashtool V5.1516. With this application I've made the installation.

Yo la he instalado en mi telefono y realmente funciona muy bien, excelente calidad de Audio, muy buena resolución en imagenes y videos. Sin aplicaciones chinas.
Sin permisos de Raiz.
Multilenguaje.
Solamente le he detectada 2 inconvenientes:
1.- No ha sido posible instalar permisos de raiz, habiendo probado con todas las opciones: Iroot, KingoRoot, RootGenius, etc.
Si alguno de ustedes logra instalar esta opción, le ruego indicar aqui mismo, la forma de solucionarlo.
2.- Aun cuando yo instalé un Recovery CWM, el sistema no me permite acceder a estos servicios. Parece como si existiese un bloqueo especial para estas opciones.
INSTALACION:
a) Muy importante que se haga un respaldo completo, antes de iniciar la actualización.
b) Aqui tam bien podras obtener la V5.1516 de SpFlashtool, que es la mas reciente. Con esta aplicacion yo realice la instalación.

Yes it does have that.
so i just tested this a bit and after i updated this i got err = 0×10 on my wifi. and missing imei
and i need root to fix wifi. so all in all this simple update took me 2 houers at least.
just installing my backup now (apps and files)
I hop there is no more problems now
So for me the "Smart Wake" App does not work in the new version of Lollipop.
Did it also delete and flash Kitkat, had a lot of FCs on Lollipop.

Use Mtk Engineering from play store. (the one that is purple and blue) works.
Just get the imei from under the battery.

I found this version completely useless because :
No root
No Recovery to backup in external SD
Loosing data ( imei , apps, errors like NVRAM error ) when flashing in firmware upgrade ( WHY ? )
Completely Brick with charge at 0%

Can I respectfully Suggest That the link to the latest ROM (20th May 2015) Should be removed from this thread as it is an unoffical whos Cyanogen Mod ROM and not an official ECCO ROM. There is 12.1 CM ROM Already a uploaded to needrom Which may well be the same. If it is not then a it would be more Appropriate That your latest ROM be added as an update to That One.
Having linked to it on a thread for the offical ROM is going to cause confusion.

It is a lollipop ROM dated May 7th so slightly newer than the 30th April ROM. I Have Been running it for several days and it works well … "

I decided to buy the Ecoo.E04 3GB by the attractiveness of the function "fingerprint," but for everything else, the Jiayu is much higher in quality and design.

OK. It seems that someone here in Italy was been able to root Lollipop. Using this CWM : https://yadi.sk/d/Vr3KjAzwgaRS.....p . It doesn't work perfectly ( it doesn't see EXT SD and so it's impossible to make a backup on external sd but it can install zip ). Someone installed superSu zip on it and run..After installed busybox and gave root permissions changing binary files.
A big problem with Ecoo is that ( no matter if KK or lollipop ) Even thought the external SD is set as defaul memory the system continues to write on internal one. So every app, data and everything is written on the internal storage limiting in this way the 16GB space and returning ext SD quite useless
Yes, friend, I also could set permissions ECOO root in V5.0, but after that, the phone became very unstable and can not record files to the SD card particularly, backups, via CWM Recovery ..
If you review my introductory remarks, so I said promptly, and this complication is not possible to fix it because I think it's some kind of encryption design of the phone.
For this and some other detail, returned it to the seller and when I get it back, I sell it as is, without any changes, because I do not want to have this phone again.
