What you need:
- Phone, best if it will be the Lenovo A820
- ZIP from this site
- ~250MB free space on SD card (internal/external)
- recovery like TWRP, may be older, but it's good to have a new one like this (CWM is not recomended/tested) https://www.needrom.com/download/twrp-2-8-4-0-themes/
- MAKE A BACKUP OF YOUR FILES! You can use TWRP for it. Select all partition! All!
How to install:
- enter into TWRP recovery
- in advanced wipe option select data, dalvik and cache and erase it. You can wipe secure and system for sure too
- back to install option and select ZIP file
- wait…
- reboot device

As I said at the beginning… ROM/Kernel may not work on any device… Especially if it is not the Lenovo A820. Sometimes there are problems by replaced display. The first thing you should do then is wipe data/davlik/cache again in recovery – it's sometimes help. You can also use the kernel from the infrared (4pda.ru) because it may contain more fix.
What not work:
- network location (GPS work well)
- root make sometimes the problem with mouuntpoints so be watchful
- if SIM cards not work just try to reenable it in options few times
- tell me in comments…

i use your kernel whit https://www.needrom.com/downlo.....lenovo-a820-kk/ but dont work blutohh and flash, can you do a custom rom from this, is imposible flash proton kernel, the phone dont startup whit proton, but your kernel yes!

I tried thousands of way to install your rom and the previous one but all fail with no sim connection.
I don't remember how but at a moment i ran Oncle tools and saw the IMEI was missing. So i think restoring the imei sould resolve the problem of connection. Is this a possibility ? And is there a simple way to restore it ? Note that despite i check the box backup nvram (…) i can't find any backup file on my sd card.
I know that this extension of ram to 2.7go is responsible of the trouble. Your rom seems nice and i hope i can use it soon. I am afraid my A820 won't never wake up…

processor running at 1.2Ghz when charger is plugged in. is there any way to fix it? i tried with cpu control programs, but nothing helps. to archive faster charging times, i charge the phone in turned off state.

MS, I have installed your ROMb3 after removing some apps I have the zip down to ~275mb. I did not experience any problem with the rom except the GoogleContactsSyncAdapter.apk is missing so contacts not syncing with google. easy fix
slightly more complicated is the camera has default to 3mp

I have exactly the same problem. Loaded the Proton kernel as suggested but still the same. I then installed Beta21 and that was ok, but after installing Gapps, I couldn't sign in to my Google account or download apps from Playstore. Just says my device is not compatible.
Did you ever find out why you could not install beta3?
