What you need:
- Phone, best if it will be the Lenovo A820
- ZIP from this site
- ~250MB free space on SD card (internal/external)
- recovery like TWRP, may be older, but it's good to have a new one like this (CWM is not recomended/tested) https://www.needrom.com/download/twrp-2-8-4-0-themes/
- MAKE A BACKUP OF YOUR FILES! You can use TWRP for it. Select all partition! All!
How to install:
- enter into TWRP recovery
- in advanced wipe option select data, dalvik and cache and erase it. You can wipe secure and system for sure too
- back to install option and select ZIP file
- wait…
- reboot device
OMG I get bootloop! What to do? How to live?
As I said at the beginning… ROM/Kernel may not work on any device… Especially if it is not the Lenovo A820. Sometimes there are problems by replaced display. The first thing you should do then is wipe data/davlik/cache again in recovery – it's sometimes help. You can also use the kernel from the infrared (4pda.ru) because it may contain more fix.
What not work:
- network location (GPS work well)
- root make sometimes the problem with mouuntpoints so be watchful
- if SIM cards not work just try to reenable it in options few times
- tell me in comments…

After few days with beta 3 everything is ok. Can someone tell me the name of Adblock App in that package? It makes problem with some apps(Filmweb).
I was always wondering why when I start to record video, the screen zooms in and when I want to make photo it is zooming out… Both are at x1.0 zoom and recording still looks like it's zoomed a bit, even though I wasn't zooming it… Is it bug or it's supposed to be like that?
The camera video recording container has extension 3gp and the last ROM I used (Lambda 2.4) had extension MP4. It looks like the container is actually the same according to information gathered with program MediaInfo https://imgur.com/0GBg0qq
I'm having the same issue with the IMEI missing and unknown baseband. I flashed an original rom through SP Flash Tools, with no luck.
I've tried every trick I could find: (engineering mode “AT+EGMR=1,7,”IMEI_1") & (MTK Droid Tools). I've found that my EFS folder is missing in the root directory. Unfortunately don't have a backup of my EFS folder.
How could I possibly solve this?
if you have a backup of your NVRAM (NVRAM.img), use the "Через терминал на аппарате" method of this post, works for me, if not have done a backup,are some days that I've done it on my own, but I do not remember exactly the whole process: I formatted the "whole flash except bootloader" whit "validation" checked using SP Flash Tool "Format" button, and so flashed an original rom, after, rewrote the IMEI using the IMEI & SN Writer v1.5.3. google it for more information.

Easy steps to install :
Download that rom
Download GApps link :

Move all to your sdcard
Insert sdcard in phone and go to recovery mode
Do factory reset , wipe cache , and go to advanced and press wipe cache dalvik
Go to choose zip from sdcard and open that rom pres yes and wait when install done
When it done go again in choose zip from sdcard and open gapps press yes and wait when it done install
Press reeboot system
You are done ! YOU HAVE KITKAT This works for lenovo a820

is there any update comming soon for this version of OS.
I'been reading the comments and I see some of You have issues. I would like to switch from lambda to this kernel. I am afraid if the this OS exchange would cost me more problems than benefits.
