DESCRIPTION
>>>>Xiaomi.eu drop'd the support of weekly ROM's for all the Android 4.4 based Xiaomi Phones. They will only release Stable for these Android 4.4 Phones. The Version 6.11.3 will be so far the last real Multilanguage ROM Port. I will port the stable rom as soon as it's been released.<<<<
i present you a port of Xiaomi's MIUI 8 to our Zopo phone (mainly 980/C2).
Base work is made by Vell, a great friend and mentor in case of porting this rom to our Zopo phone.
I will continue his work as far as i can.
I have a Zopo 980 2/32 so i test every port i will release here. And my native language is german, i can speak and write english but for russia i have to use Google Translate, so be prepared
Original Topic is here.
In case of bug's, Errors, Problems:
Please give me as much Info as possible, my Crystal Ball is not ready yet, still need some parts for it.
but still keep in mind, i port this in my free time, and in case of bigger, deeper problems i have to consult others, i don't really have the deep knowlage of Android programming and/or porting. All i know, comes from Vell, his help and his post, where i helped out too, like many of you may know.

Thanks for your work Dave!
MIUI8 6.11.3 v68 Xiaomi.eu version now released!
[U] Base firmware changed to 6.11.3
[+] Added a choice of selecting older Dreamer7 V3.0 kernel, for the 1/16 Phones
[+] Added some new Lockscreens and Wallpaper
The choice for the Dreamer7 v3.0 kernel is for Phones with 1GB Ram.
Please feel free to test it out if you have problems with the current Dreamer7 kernel with your 1GB Ram Zopo.
Now the bad new
As i understand it correct from Xiaomi.eu; this version will be the last weekly from them.
Xiaomi.eu drop'd the weekly Rom's for all Android 4.4 Devices.
They will only make Stable Roms for them from now on. And this stable versions i will port too if i can.
So, if i don't find a solution for porting other multilanguage Rom's, this will be the last "real" Multilanguage.
I keep a eye on Multirom.me Rom's and will port them as weekly if they provide them. But this will mean, there will be Russian, English and German language support only.
I don't have much luck in translating the Rom by myselfe. Everytime i try it, i get some Errors. If this would work, i could provide you guy's with multilanguage weekly, but sadly as i say'd, i have no luck so far
.
If someone have some experience in Rom translating, plz write me a PM.
As for now, have some fun with the new/last weekly for our Zopo Phone.
Dave
Ciao
Non riesco a portare a termine l'installazione mi rilascia il seguente errore "Your system partition must be more than 1000 mb and you have a 591mb " premetto la mia versione di zopo è zp980 2gb di ram e 32 gb rom.
Grazie saluti
Hello jerrys81000,
your 2GB RAM has nothing to do with the System Partition.
The System Partition is a space on the internal memory of your phone wich holds the Android System, in that case the MIUI.
You need to repartition this space in order to install the MIUI8 on your phone. The original System Partition was'nt big enough to install the MIUI7 or 8.
So, please follow the "How to extend the System Partition" Spoiler and you will be good to install the MIUI 8 on it. But please be carefull and read the Spoiler carefully.
Dave
Ciao jerrys81000,

Redfox91.
Grazie
