DESCRIPTION
>>>>Xiaomi.eu drop'd the support of weekly ROM's for all the Android 4.4 based Xiaomi Phones. They will only release Stable for these Android 4.4 Phones. The Version 6.11.3 will be so far the last real Multilanguage ROM Port. I will port the stable rom as soon as it's been released.<<<<
i present you a port of Xiaomi's MIUI 8 to our Zopo phone (mainly 980/C2).
Base work is made by Vell, a great friend and mentor in case of porting this rom to our Zopo phone.
I will continue his work as far as i can.
I have a Zopo 980 2/32 so i test every port i will release here. And my native language is german, i can speak and write english but for russia i have to use Google Translate, so be prepared
Original Topic is here.
In case of bug's, Errors, Problems:
Please give me as much Info as possible, my Crystal Ball is not ready yet, still need some parts for it.
but still keep in mind, i port this in my free time, and in case of bigger, deeper problems i have to consult others, i don't really have the deep knowlage of Android programming and/or porting. All i know, comes from Vell, his help and his post, where i helped out too, like many of you may know.

Yes Dave, we have to thank Vell for the excellent work. Everything works fine! I suggest you to try the HD resolution… The phone is faster with the animation and game. Theorically should consume less battery. Thanks!!
Redfox91.
Anyone else has a problem where the phone is stuck on boot screen and repeating it?
And at the end sends me back to recovery. No idea. Tried 2 kernels.
Hello Outlay,
same question as always: What phone you are using, what stats? What did you do. Clean install or Update? What Recovery you are using CWM or TWRP? and what version? Did you read the description and the Spoilers all carefully, because much questions are answered there.
At the moment i'm working on the new weekly and testing it out on my phone, so be prepared to test the new one.
And guy's please remember, my crystal ball is still in development
Dave

[U] Base firmware changed to 6.7.14
[U] Open GApps updatedto pico-20160713
[U] SuperSU updated to v2.76
Info:
FM radio works on clean install.
If i do update only on my current phone and setup, the FM radio does'nt work. I don't know why this is happen. I think because i did update's everytime since Vell realeases MIUI8 ports. Think i will need to make a clean install in the next day's to have a nice "clean" MIUI8 on my phone.
Hi Dave.
You can update links other dowload. Official link speed is too slow. Thx
I'm using ZP980(C2), normal one with 32gb, installed TWRP 2.8.0.0 recovery via mobileuncle, did a backup, i extended my partition and returned to my backup. After that I factory reset the phone and installed MIUI. The error I'm getting is that mobile is stuck on the miui logo, and keeps repeating it self and after a while going back to recovery
Tried reinstalling with other kernels, same bug happens.
Hello Outlay,
never had this problem you wrote. And never had heard of it, the part of reentering recovery from a failboot. Did you get any error's if you install miui? If you do a factory reset all your data will be wipe'd, so a restore of your backup is'nt needed. After you install'd Miui and the installation process is finish'd make a "wipe Cache/dalvic" (button is showing) after you've done it, reboot system and wait….some good time…5+ minutes…you can leave your phone plug'd in with wall charger and if you use the USB plug in sound you will get a notice if phone is ready.
You had made a backup, good, let it there. Make a realy clean install, this should work. Seems you have the same phone as i have. Never had such problems.
Dave
Thanks a lot, it works
Verry Nice. Now try out everything. Glad i could help.
Everything seems to be working as intended, thanks a lot.
Again stuck in a bootloop. Tried wiping cache and dalvik, still stuck. There is like 1 in 30 chance of my phone actually booting up,and it takes over 10 mins for me. It's an awesome ROM, but I'm going back to stock. @Dave is there any way of looking into the bug and what could it be?
Did you install a app that cause this reboot? I use my phoneevery day, with calling, whatsapp, gps, Bluetooth and so on but never had a random reboot. And never stuck in boot. Did you overclock your phone? I don’t know where i could look into it in case of this bug.
Dave
No, I just did a normal reboot, nothing overclocked. Stock ROM working without this bug,but when i install MIUI, it does the bootloop.
Great rom , but i dont't know why the keyboard takes a lot to take the imput in the stock browser. It's really hard to write something XD
yes, i have the same problem, if i write something into the browser searchbar, than the first char aren't recognized.
But keep in mind, it's stil a beta version of the MIUI8. If the realease version comes out, maybe all the bug's are gone (i hope).
