How to install the ROM
You have to use my Unoffical TWRP 3.6.1 Recovery to flash your device later. The file in the attachment is zipped and valid for the TWRP Recovery (don't extract the rom zip!)
Please backup NVRAM and IMEI with TWRP BEFORE flash! If you lose your MAC / IMEI after flash, you can restore it in 2 seconds!
First time installing the ROM
Boot into TWRP -> delete Dalvik, Cache, System and Data -> Install the ROM ZIP -> Install GAPPS -> Restart your phone -> thats it!
Upgrade from earlier version
Boot into TWRP -> delete Dalvik, Cache, System -> Install the ROM ZIP -> Install GAPPS -> Restart your phone -> thats it!
Bugs and how you can fix it
- to reduce flickering on apps (only few have this issue), go to: settings -> developer options -> animation duration scale -> animation off
- Video recording inverted color (workarround: any third party camera)

Hi, just wanted to say thanks for keeping this device up to date!
Version 20200512 has some tweaks with power profiles. I guess almost no one configure power profiles on the device and has always the "balanced"-profile by default. So i optimize the "balanced" profile now. The new one goes up to 1208MHz instead of only 1100MHz. You'll get a bit more performance. Highest value up to 1300Mhz has now the power profile "Quick". "Performance"-Profile has now always boost with 1300MHz locked.

Power save: 600Mhz – 750MHz
Efficiency: 750MHz – 900MHz
Balanced: 750MHz - 1200MHz
Quick: 900MHz – 1300MHz
Performance: 1300MHz
Nice to see Updates again for LoS 14.1 !
I use LoS 14.1-20181115 and i need to install it again after some Bugs and erros sometimes. Now i can use a updated Version from it. Best ROM ever for the Cubot Note S.

Ps.: @Seluce gibt es eine Möglichkeit die ROM einfach mit einen Patch ein update/Upgrade zu machen oder neu installieren und fertig.
Backups habe ich genügend für reinstall.. Wäre also kein ding.
Hey, einfach beim TWRP folgendes löschen: Dalvik, Cache, System
Danach normal die neuste ROM-ZIP und anschließend GAPPS installieren. Dann einfach neu starten und er installiert die ROM in der neusten Version ohne deine Daten zu löschen.
Bin schon sehr gespannt auf die neueste Version. Der Download der OpenGapps von sourceforge.net erweist sich als echtes Nadelöhr: 38 KB/s

did you clear Dalvik, Cache, System and Data? You need to reinstall latest LineageOS Version and boot up.
Factory Reset in LOS means only to clean up LOS and boots into twrp to install latest version
If something is strange, you can always try to flash original firmware. boot it up once to homescreen.
Flash then again twrp and install latest LineageOS

yes i did all that and reinstalled the last version, but the phone still boots directly to twrp, despite the fact that the installation is done without problem … i will put it back under ofw and redo the process from the beginning
