How to install the ROM
You have to use my Unoffical TWRP 3.6.1 Recovery to flash your device later. The file in the attachment is zipped and valid for the TWRP Recovery (don't extract the rom zip!)
Please backup NVRAM and IMEI with TWRP BEFORE flash! If you lose your MAC / IMEI after flash, you can restore it in 2 seconds!
First time installing the ROM
Boot into TWRP -> delete Dalvik, Cache, System and Data -> Install the ROM ZIP -> Install GAPPS -> Restart your phone -> thats it!
Upgrade from earlier version
Boot into TWRP -> delete Dalvik, Cache, System -> Install the ROM ZIP -> Install GAPPS -> Restart your phone -> thats it!
Bugs and how you can fix it
- to reduce flickering on apps (only few have this issue), go to: settings -> developer options -> animation duration scale -> animation off
- Video recording inverted color (workarround: any third party camera)

I currently use LOS13 and I am very satisfied, very stable , but i want to try LOS14. Is it possible to update los13 to los14? can I go back to los13 after upgrade?
actually never tried an upgrade from LOS13 to LOS14.1
If you like 100% stable rom, then stay on LOS13. Only if you know how to handle with some bugs, you can check LOS14.1
Any hopes for LOS 15?
currently no chance with kernel 3.18.19. i'll update LOS13 and LOS14.1 with 2018-05 updates soon.

Unfortunately connections to the hidden SSID are not possible with wifi (already tried all options). With LOS 13 all ok.

Hm.. actually never tried it with hidden WLAN. Let me try it on Monday and i'll give you feedback.

unfortunately not. I have no access to the cubot source, so I can not implement this function (it's vendor specific)
Fixed Crashes (like Play Store, etc)… finally found the fix. Great day. It's a beta test only!
Spent 3 days to compare LOS13, LOS14.1 and LOS15.1.
So the only bug now is Video Recording ? And how is LOS15 ?
LOS15 is only maybe possible, because is so different than LOS14. Can't promise it, but it looks not so good.
App crashes are now gone. If you switch to any other camera.. problem is be solved, but i take a look to this too.
this rom has no themes to install, you can put it please
you can go for DotOS again, patched it with themes. I'll keep LOS14.1 slim. have no plans to integrate theme patcher into the rom.
Maybe i can take a look next for wifi_supplicant with hidden wifi
Which one is faster DotOS or LOS14.1?
both are good, but i prefer dotOS..
