In the original ROM V3 (G4S-20140816-190609), Superuser, even if enabled in Settings, is not working.
You put the boot.img in the rom (rename boot.v3.fixsu.img –> boot.img) and after you flash your mobile

Install ROM :
- Unpack FlashTools, and Click on Flash_tool.exe
- Select a the MT6592_Android_scatter.txt in ROM
- Wait file to be added into Flash Tool
- choose Option->USB Model,click USB Model
–> Choose Option->DA DownLoad All->Speed->High Speed, click High Speed
- Turn off your phone, remove the battery.
- "Press F9 (hit Download button)" OR " if upgrade ROM Firmware->Upgrade "
- and connect your phone into the computer via USB data cable.
- The process will start and a red progress bar will appear after color purple, yellow.

Great rom no issues at all! Only the Browser is in Chinese! All other applications are Multilingual (Calendar, Contacts, Dialer). I'm using Greek language! Everything works great, it will only need to install busybox to recovery the IMEI with MTK Droid Tools.
The gps work with the last rom?
Yes works great, old dialer is back. Backup yourE IMEI first!!!

Hi guys I am on Android 4.2.2 and really new to this. I see people say they have flashed the rom using TWRP. how do I do this or should I do it? I have backed up my IMEI numbers with Mobile uncle tools, but do I do a full back up on TWRP after that, then do I follow the instructions given above? Is there a video that might help? Help would really be appreciated. thank you
Make backup of IMEI and do this:
Unpack FlashTools, and Click on Flash_tool.exe

Best custom recovery for the 4.4.2 ROM?
finally DUAL SIM problem (that before one of dual can not be turned off) now is fixed..thank you very much for the response of my question in the last post

No chinese applications! Everything works great.
Don't forget to install busybox for full root rights!
Also you can install easily the 4.4.2 AOSP Browser if you don't want the stock one (no translations to all languages) which you can easily uninstall with Titaniun Backup.
Faster ROM than the latest official 4.2.2.

have to install this last official rom, realy impressive compare to other from jiayu, no issues (ongly tried for a few houres). the ongly thing not good is browser in xines and for that i chose to use another rom, i use android browser its my favorite.

is essential IMEI copy before updating, now I have 4.2.2 ???.
I did not know the IMEI is always erased when you update.
With other phones, it has never erased me. With that program I copy IMEI.
