In the original ROM V3 (G4S-20140816-190609), Superuser, even if enabled in Settings, is not working.
You put the boot.img in the rom (rename boot.v3.fixsu.img –> boot.img) and after you flash your mobile

Install ROM :
- Unpack FlashTools, and Click on Flash_tool.exe
- Select a the MT6592_Android_scatter.txt in ROM
- Wait file to be added into Flash Tool
- choose Option->USB Model,click USB Model
–> Choose Option->DA DownLoad All->Speed->High Speed, click High Speed
- Turn off your phone, remove the battery.
- "Press F9 (hit Download button)" OR " if upgrade ROM Firmware->Upgrade "
- and connect your phone into the computer via USB data cable.
- The process will start and a red progress bar will appear after color purple, yellow.
- And green circles display
- Finish !
- You can now safely disconnect your phone and turn it on.
※Please make a backup of your device before installing or updating ROM
A possible fix for caller id matching in phone app. Only if you understand what you are doing! Have a full backup handy if you mess up something.
Use root explorer, edit system/build.prop make sure there is one line and only one like this
ro.init.phonenumber_match=9
Replace 9 with the number that uniquely identify a number. Also there may be a line like ro.phone.min.num.match not sure this one has any effect at all.
Reboot
Now you have to clear and rebuild contact cache. If using local contacts, make a backup since they will be erased. If using online contacts (like exchange, gmail etc.) you will probably have to delete and recreate account afterwards.
Go to settings -> apps -> contact storage and clear data. Now restore your contacts because they are gone.
At this point caller id matching may work as expected in phone app.
If this does not help, it gets messy. In a thread on XDA, C3C076 explains how to modify system/frameroot/frameroot.jar. In kk it looks different and you really have to understand where to modify the jar. I found only two places that look relevant (replace 0xb with 0×9 or other number of digits), one is the default value for the setting from above post. There are more 0xb there, you should not replace them all blindly.
You have to learn to use unzip and baksmali to unpack the jar, edit classes.dex then rebuild the jar with smali and zip

I have problem with camera. Can’t click on the button to change camera mod (HDR,Gesture…) It’s like there is no button just autofocus when i press on viewfinder
I want to extract the live wallpapers of this rom and to install to the latest official KitKat firmware.
How should I do that?
I install the first link, so i have to install with same method all the 3 other links, one by one?
With the first link my GPS doesn't work.

If i understand, the latest version (update 10:22/2014) included all the other and it is this one that i have to flash and not the first version.
It is possible just update first version by latest or it is necessary to install all the latest version? (so explain me if update it's possible, i use flash tool).
