I used the apk file for 8/16 gb rom on my phone 32gb. i did everything as the tutorial for increasing the internal memory to 5gb. Well it sims the phone is working fine and everything. the apps are installed in the internalSD (5gb) except the camera who stores the photos to Exteternal MicroSD. The internal memory of the phone is working like an archive(24gb) So it seems i have increased the internal memory correctly and everything is working good. BUT i have some issues. Firstly while following the guide the emc could not be mounted. I rebooted and did nothing and the phone started normally.
NOW the only issue i think it is this one : WHen i connect the phone to the computer i can see just 2 memory. THe External MicroSD and the internal memory (24gb) but i can access neither from the pc neither with explorer apps the internalSD (5gb) i created. The programs keep installing fine but how can i make this memory show up in the explorer ? :-/
During the tutorial i get stucked at point 10…after i rebooted no msg appeared. Id didnt asked me to format the sd ,
and i didnt know how to set the SD as defoult write disk. But it seems working anyway because the programms are installed to the Internal SD (5gb) . So maybe the only problem is how to show it up ? Any suggestion ? Thanx
I was wondering, anybody had issues with the camera after flashing? My previous version of the rom's were perfectly fine. But the latest update sort of blurred out my rear camera and is unable to focus at a distance. Near shots are great though. Front camera seems to be working fine though.
I've got the exact same problem. Although the camera can focus at a distance, the photo's never come out really sharp. As you said, close-ups are great though.
And although I've tried several fixes, GPS seems to be a continuing problem. I get a fix relatively fast and I'm able to use navigation software but the GPS seems to loose it's fix every 0.5seconds to 1.0second for a very short moment. It looks like the GPS datastream is interrupted, which seems like a driver/software problem. Unfortunatly I've not been able to fix that

Hello, thats normal you the internal sd not showing in pc or in explorer, because that memory is a system memory, one way that you can access to it is instaling rootexplorer or similiar and that navigate to system. the error of "emc could not be mounted" this error was the one i talk about, this happens because you try to format the internal memory in recovery, you must do data wipe in recovery/ factory defaults after you do the data partition to 5gb, then reboot the phone and after it reboots to desktop, you can erase the internal memory in settings/storage and after that reboot in recovery and restore your rom or data only to have all your apps and settings back.
if you cant erase the internal memory(thius happens to me the first time) instal again the meteos apk and do again the all process, but this time after wipe data reboot the phone and it will be all fine. remember its best to erase the internal memory after the process has done, to avoid future problems.

Do I need to update all or just UMI X2 – Update 09/12/2013. I haven’t updated any rom ever since I got the Umi X2 Turbo mobile. My Baseband Version = 2013/07/10 23:14 Build number=UMI X2 20120725-172948. Any one has any recommendation on what to update and what not to? Thanks
I have installed just the last update when i used this ROM. But you can even try to flash (wipe cashes and datas) (look the fist page) and than just flash all the updates one by one without wipe. over the first install.

May I use this for the Voto X2 too?
Just installed latest 10/22/2013 version, flashed effectively.
Now having problems with popup, "Google Play Service has stopped" every few seconds. Obviously this makes the phone almost unusable, have to hit OK every few seconds.
Tips?
The problem is now preventing me from using Maps, Google Now, and the Google Play Store is also buggy. There has to be a fix for this!
I think you should revert back to the previous rom and wait for some few testing. Seems you were the first person to try this new update. Updated 2hrs ago you are very fast.
Thanks for the reality check, Geodex. I'll downgrade to the previous version, but at least I guess I'm contributing to improving the update!
For completion's sake:
-GPS location disfunctional. Service hangs.
-Google Play store unusable.
-Google Services disfunctional. Service repeatedly crashes, with pop-up prompts.
Currently on a UMI X2 Turbo 32/2, English language, US-based on AT&T.

note: only english language is supported in this build
Did some pretty extensive research on this problem, and having tried multiple solutions, this seems like a problem with the ROM. Came out today. Have you tried it?

PlayStore not complete, Phone does't find installed apps from store.
No MulitLanguage -> would be fine to find this information in ROM descrition.
Confirmed: PlayStore & Google Services disfunctional.
