Hi i installed this , 2 day ago. Everythings is working perfect.
Antutu 14534 on X2 Turbo 1Gb/16Gb but witout external sd-card.
bluetoth and gps are working nice..

Does anyone know if there is a way to disabel the hardware buttons? If not can there be an option added to the rom for this? I tried editing the qwerty.kl under /system/usr/keylayout but it didn't work.

there is only one based on 17.07.2013 rom.
PS: please can you include md5 or sha1 checksum to verify our download
link is now there (needrom always verifies uploads first). You can check the download with e.g. 7zip for errors.

Put the zip on the sd and select flash from sd. It will not wipe your data and apps.
I instaled this ROM and I did a littel test of GPS, Wify, 3G. All ok ! It was done in Catalonia (Barcelona).
I needed an english recovery. (i was scared when first i installed a chines one). I found it there:

Sorry, have some questions:
1. ROM – is it the attached zip archive in the top of this article?
2. To install this ROM I should to place downloaded .zip into the device root and perform installation according to the "CWM for MTK Platform" tutorial instructions, isn't it?
3. Before installing new ROM I have to backup my own ROM. But I can't do it. I dowloaded "rom manager" tool. This tool ask me to create something named "ClockWorkMod". I did it using "manual" mode (chose something like "3.x"). Then rom manager tool permited me to invoke "Backup Current ROM" menu function. After I did it, my UMI x2 rebooted and displayed red crossed android robot and nothing else. I waited for 10 minutes, then pressed power button + sound button and chose "reboot" option. Unfortunately, No one backups were made.
Please, advice and help me.
