thanks…Did not do a factory reset. Of what these threads claim, it's not required as part of the installation.
If I do need to do it, is there any way to retain the listing of apps I have installed? That is, not the actual files themselves, but rather something to make reinstalling them automatic?
Normally Factory reset is not needed,this is still a beta.i will release an improved version soon.

Sadly I can't confirm that, my GPS got worse after update. I will have a try with my old gps.conf over the next days. Aside that it is a nice ROM.

I've done a factory reset and reinstalled, ROM seems to work fine now – Google Services is no longer crashing.
However, still experiencing the one problem I wanted to fix: my stock SMS/MMS app does not send texts unless the app is fully on the screen during delivery, and I cannot use alternate SMS apps.
Is anyone else experiencing this problem?
Install worked perfectly. However i'm now experiencing problems with my 3G and GSM connection, everytime I try to call or send an SMS the handset warns me that i'm currently roaming and normal GSM function is unavaible, I'm also not able to use 3G to receive or send data even though data connection and 3G are turned on and connected to my carrier…
Any help? Would be much appreciated
I really like the transparent status bar of the new update. But the black shadow should start from the top.. and in some apps it is really ugly :/
