Install ROM :
- Unpack FlashTools, and Click on Flash_tool.exe
- Select a the MT6582_Android_scatter_emmc.txt in ROM
- Wait file to be added into Flash Tool
- choose Option->USB Model,click USB Model
–> Choose Option->DA DownLoad All->Speed->High Speed, click High Speed
- Turn off your phone, remove the battery.
- "Press F9 (hit Download button)" OR " if upgrade ROM Firmware->Upgrade "
- and connect your phone into the computer via USB data cable.
- The process will start and a red progress bar will appear after color purple, yellow.
- And green circles display
- Finish !
- You can now safely disconnect your phone and turn it on.
※Please make a backup of your device before installing or updating ROM
GPS doesn't work. It sees some sattelites but doesn't get a fix. Even after lots of time. Does anybody got a solution?
Do you know is the last firmware on blog.geekbuying same as firmware here 12.12.2013. One from geek makes my phone freez 5 time a day.
Have you find a solution for the touchscreen freezing bug?
burst24 make sure that you enable the agps and the satellite position is properly downloaded (google provider should be better than nokia)

Come ooon, don't you read what other write? There is NO SOLUTION.
It's a hardware problem, it CANNOT be solved.
You must send it back and have it repaired or exchanged.
If it were a software issue, we all would have the same problem that would have be solved by updating Android. But it's not the case, I have 2 W450 and none of them has that kind of problem.
So replacing the touchscreen solve my problem?
Probably.
Isn't your phone under warranty? Send it back to the shop you bought it from.
First install drivers before trying to flash. Search "MT65xx Preloader drivers" in Google
I also have the touchscreen freezing bug

Here is the fix for the gps error.It is working like a charm.The phone has accurate gps, good signal strenght.baseband : 2013.11.25 stock, rooted with vroot

Finally it's working!!
I followed what fgarcilo did by scratching the plastic layer covering the antenna and by adding a small piece of aluminium foil. Man it's great, at last I'll be able to use this stupid GPS! Woooooot!!
