For full kernel changelog, visit my github repo: https://github.com/infraredbg/Lenovo_A820_kernel_kk
GPU overclock (works on some A820):
Currently it is only supported via init.d script
Go to /system/etc/init.d and open 00proton with a text editor
Uncomment and change desired value (all values are explained in the script)
Save and make sure the file has correct permissions
Reboot device
You can verify if the GPU frequency have changed in /proc/gpufreq/gpufreq_var_dump
Installation:
If you're currently using one of my DEV roms, it is recommended to do a clean install
It is recommended to use my TWRP 2.8.4.0 recovery (install via Rashr from PlayStore on phone or from FlashTools on PC)
Copy zip on sdcard and optional GApps package and reboot to recovery
Do a full backup of your current ROM including nvram block (IMPORTANT)
Wipe system, data and cache from TWRP. The script does not do automatic format.
Install ROM zip and GApps (optional)
Reboot system (first boot takes time)

Hi, I'm an admirer of your roms
but there was a problem. Disconnects from time to time MicroSD card. Restart helps.
Check/clean your contacts on the slot and sdcard. I've never had this problem on any rom.
You can clean it with Vodka :p
Wi-fi stoped working on mine after instaling the 1.0.1 OTA.It finds networks but no wi-fi icon and no conections.I wiped and instaled again same problem.Pls help.
I don't see what could possible go wrong with the OTA update. There's nothing even remotely connected with Wi-Fi functionality.
The only update on SystemUI is a fix for purple color of SIM indicator. The other fix is for stagefright. Other things included in the package are targeting headset buttons.
Are you using the final 1.0 uploaded here/GDrive?
Hi ,
My question is – if is already repartitioned with data-repart-to-2.7GB.zip than should be reverted to default partition or can I use the setps in your guide?
Better follow the guide, because many phones lose IMEI when repartitioned.
Upgrade to KK from FlashTools, then you can repartition again (even with same script you used before) and install KK from zip at last.
Ok
But can I start to make the all the steps from the guide, even if my phone already repartitioned?
Yes. Installing full firmware from FlasTools reverts the partiotions back to stock.
Did a complete wipe of everything it seems to fix the problem. The wi-fi icon does not appear when searching for networks, but appears when connected to one.
That's normal for AOSP – no indicator in statusbar when searching for network.
I love this ROM! But Google authenticator doesn't work. I tried reinstalling google authenticator and reset it from the scratch.
Hi Friends, if they appear IMEI (unknown), but aimed their numbers IMEIs. perform the following steps.
Engineering Mode Method
1. Download and Install Mobile Uncle then grant superuser permission
2. Select Engineer mode
3. Select Engineer mode (MTK)
4. Navigate to the Connectivity tab
5. Select CDS information
3. Select Radio Information
4. At Phone 1: Insert the command below then click Send at command
Code: AT+EGMR=1,7,"IMEI1"
5. At Phone 2: Insert the command below then click Send at command
Code: AT+EGMR=1,10,"IMEI2"
5a. If you get an error like "This command is not allowed in user build" then leave a space between AT+ and EGMR as show below
Code: AT+ EGMR=The rest of the code
6. Go back to Mobile uncle home screen
7. Click on Engineer Mode
8. Select Engineer mode (Android)
9, Select Phone information
10. Click Turn on radio
Thx but not always help. Infrared ‘s guide is essential.
And this is not a permanent solution. You lose IMEI on next factory reseet/new rom install.
Thenks for the awesome rom i really like it.But i have a problem the battery drains really fast, 3/4 of a day when i'm not useing it.I use to go a day and a half with the lambda rom.I installed the rom step by step. Can you give me some advice.
You can install BetterBatteryStats and look what's happening with the phone
Nothing out of the ordinary.Screen and cell stand by.
Maybe start with clean install and add apps one by one.
On my phone it is pretty normal. I think 4:30 hours screen-on time with Wi-Fi and Data connection always on, plus some GPS and calls is fine for that battery. If I use it less, then it lasts at least 2 days, but on normal usage it holds at least for the day.
What I noticed is foobar2k, lol
Yeah, controlling foobar from the phone through my home wi-fi.
I tried a clean install with 100% battery and left it idle.2 hours later it was down 30% just from sitting there no wi-fi no data enabled.I only encounter the problem on this rom so i guess its not a hardware problem. But why only on my device.
I don't have an idea.
Do you have many multimedia files on the sdcard that need to be indexed?
My phone sleeps very well, battery usage is normal.
There was similar problem in some of the early 4.4.4 build, but it is fixed since then, because I started from scratch. And noone have complained since then. PM me if you want to try 4.4.4 build, IT is unfinished, but I use it daily without a problem.
Don't want to post the link here, because it will be immediately picked up and it is unfinished…
Any idea why Google Authenticator or Battle.net Auth is not working? Even reinstalling it
